When used effectively, stories, books and poems can be fantastic ways to captivate the attention of children and motivate them to learn and develop their use of language. Join us for a six-session programme to develop the ability to communicate stories and ideas expressively for children and explore how different forms of literature can be used in the classroom and other settings to engage them effectively.
This workshop is Module C of the Julia Gabriel Foundation Teaching Certificate (Speech & Drama)
programme. It is also open to anyone who is interested in storytelling, expressive communication
and using various forms of literature when working with children.
