Chen Jui Chen 陈瑞珍

Qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Taipei Municipal Teachers’ College.
Background Information:
I spent seven years teaching at Taipei Municipal Teachers’ College Kindergarten before coming to Singapore. I’ve been involved in curriculum development for Julia Gabriel Education’s Mandarin programmes since 1999.
I have a passion for working with children. I take pride in providing a fun, safe and stimulating environment where children and their parents can share the joys of learning.
Personal Interests:
I like mountain climbing, travelling and discovering and researching the aesthetics. I also love exploring and sampling the various cuisines. Through my exposure to local food in Singapore, I have come to appreciate a variety of cultures and traditions.

Gong Chong Wen 龚崇文

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Chengdu Early Childhood Teacher Training School
• Diploma in Chinese Literature
Background Information:
I taught in a government Kindergarten in Chengdu from 1991 to 2001. During my ten years of teaching in China, I won several awards from the government.
I moved to Singapore and joined Julia Gabriel Education in 2001.
I enjoy working with children. I feel proud when my students enjoy singing Mandarin songs or start to speak in Mandarin.
Personal Interests:
I like listening to music, reading and singing. I also enjoy travelling with my family during the school holidays.

Diploma in Preschool Education from Northeast Teachers’ University
Background Information:
I taught in Jilin City East Nursery school before joining Julia Gabriel Education in 2004.
I love teaching Mandarin in Singapore. I’m happy to be able to play a vital role in children’s learning and witness their progression in Mandarin. I hope that children will fall in love with the language through my teaching.

Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Xi’an Infant Teacher Training School
Background Information:
I spent 12 years teaching in Fengchuan Kindergarten before joining Julia Gabriel Education in 2000.
I’ve been working with children for many years now, and I’m still very excited and passionate about working with them. I’m constantly exploring and discovering new teaching methodologies. It gives me great pleasure to see my students’ Mandarin ability progress over time, and this satisfaction is immeasurable.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy travelling. Since coming to Singapore, I’ve spent my holidays travelling around the region and exploring different cultures. Sports keep me young, energetic and alert, and give me energy to work with young children. I jog regularly to recharge myself. I’m also very interested in nutrition and leading a healthy lifestyle as I think good health is definitely more important than wealth. |

Background Information:
I joined Julia Gabriel Education in 1996, and have taught Mandarin programmes for children of various ages. I’ve also been involved in the development of our Mandarin curriculum at different levels.
I love children and enjoy working with them. There is a deep emotional bond between me and the children I teach. I take great satisfaction from working with them.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy reading, especially children’s literature. My love of drama also gives me a lot of inspiration for my teaching.

Background Information:
I taught in a kindergarten in Tianjin, China, for seven years before moving to Singapore and joining Julia Gabriel Education in 2004. I enjoy teaching Mandarin to children of various age groups.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy reading and travelling. “Read thousands of books, travel thousands of miles” is a Chinese saying which sums up my main interests. I also like listening to music and watching movies. |
