I joined Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning 10 years ago. My expertise in PlayNest also stems from the fact that I am mother to three children.
Apart from PlayNest, I also taught PlayClub and PlayNursery programmes.
I have very little time for anything else except going to the gym four times a week!
My three very beautiful children spent their precious early years in Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning and Chiltern House.

• Certificate in Primary Teaching (CPT) • JGTC (Speech and Drama)
Since joining Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning I have been teaching EduDrama to nursery age children, as well as PlayClub.
I particularly love working with toddlers. I enjoy watching them develop and grow, and also enjoy the interaction and relationships formed with their parents and caregivers.
I love listening to different kinds of music; playing my guitar and composing songs. I like to travel whenever possible and one of my favourite places to go to for relaxation is the beautiful island of Bali. It’s like a second home!

• Teacher • Certificate in Pre-School Teaching, RTRC, 2002 • Julia Gabriel Teaching Certificate (Speech and Drama), 2002 • Diploma in Drama from LaSalle-SIA College of the Arts, 2001
I have been teaching speech and drama since 1998 when I started with a local theatre group, Mime Unlimited, teaching schools in Singapore and introducing mime as a form of acting. That was a springboard to my interest in teaching young children. In my last year of college, I joined Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning as a trainee teacher and, on graduation from LaSalle in 2001, I became a teacher. I have been teaching full-time for the last four years, working with children of all ages.
I enjoy reading, going to movies and theatre. During my spare time, I attempt to immerse my sons in the wonderful world of books and the arts. We have enjoyed many children’s productions and concerts together.
