Who is Fiona Walker? 
Fiona Walker, M.Ed, B.Ed (Hons.)
Prinicpal Director of Schools, Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning and Chiltern House

Fiona joined Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning in 1991 after qualifying as a Montessori teacher at the Maria Montessori Training Organisation in London. She is devoted to providing quality education for young children and has been involved in all the early childhood programmes offered at both Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning Singapore and overseas, as well as Chiltern House.
In addition to her Montessori Diploma, Fiona also holds a Certificate in Public Speaking from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Australia and a Masters in Early Childhood, also from the University of South Australia.
Having joined the company initially as a teacher of preschool programmes, teaching nursery classes, Fiona is currently responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of curriculum; the design and implementation of various staff training programmes; the development of new centres within Singapore and overseas; in addition to supervising the implementation of budgets, staffing, equipment and environments.
Fiona is married with two young children. She enjoys traveling, reading and discovering new eating places! She is particularly interested in the different learning styles of individual children and has focused on this area in her studies.
